DCU Library is trialling a RefWorks add-on called RefShare, allowing you or your group to easily make your RefWorks account (or just part of it ) public. Your colleagues can use your public RefShare page to view your references, save them to their own accounts or to link to the full text. The public page is secure – no one can make changes to your RefWorks account.
You can use RefShare for group collaboration, for posting reading lists or to see what your colleagues are reading. You can also include a link to your public page on a shared DCU RefShare page.
To share your RefWorks account, simply log on to your RefWorks account and click on Folders > Share Folders.
RefShare e-tutorials:
The RefShare trial will run until November 2008. Should we keep RefShare after this? Contact jack.hyland@dcu.ie with your comments or questions.
